OOPS Occasional Overdraft Privilege Service
Nobody is perfect. Every now and then you might make a little mistake
in your share draft checking account that causes an overdraft. At
MECU, we know how stressful dealing with your finances can be, and
we understand that a little mistake, shouldn’t be the end of the world.
That’s why we are proud to offer our new Occasional Overdraft Privilege
Service.

This convenient service saves you the embarrassment and merchant
fees associated with returned checks. If the account is eligible, MECU
may cover (without obligation on our part) the overdrawn share draft
checks on your account up to $400. Your account will be assessed our
normal NSF charge for each item covered. We will notify you by mail
each time the overdraft occurs and you will have up to 30 days to bring
your account current. There’s no application to complete and this
service is available as long as your account remains in good
standing. It costs you nothing unless an overdraft
is paid.

Restrictions Apply including the exclusion of Business Accounts and individuals under the age of 21.
